Olivia Paulo-Lee
Olivia Paulo-Lee began her journey with the firm as an intern in 2008, when it was known as Grashow Long, and has since grown into a leading voice in real estate and construction litigation across Western New York. Known for her strategic approach and practical insight, Olivia has become a trusted advisor to property owners, developers, and businesses navigating complex disputes and high-stakes matters.
Her foundation in advocacy is complemented by a strong background in mediation, including national-level competition experience, and her continued involvement as a coach for the University at Buffalo’s trial teams. Olivia remains deeply engaged in the legal and local community, serving as President of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity’s Buffalo Alumni Chapter and as a board member of the Western New York Network in Aging.
In addition to her litigation practice, Olivia serves as general counsel to several established regional businesses, providing ongoing strategic guidance beyond the courtroom. She is also a frequent speaker for local organizations on topics related to real estate, litigation strategy, and risk management.
In 2023, Olivia took ownership of the firm, leading its continued evolution as a boutique practice focused on high-level advocacy and personalized client service. Under her leadership, the firm achieved certification as a Women-Owned Business through WBENC and operates from its own office building in Western New York—reflecting both stability and long-term commitment to the region.
Olivia is admitted to practice in New York, Virginia, Washington, D.C., and before the Supreme Court of the United States.

James P. Giambrone, Jr.
"James P. Giambrone Jr., Esq. brings more than three decades of legal experience across real estate, litigation, and complex contract matters. His practice has included handling thousands of residential real estate and refinance transactions, advising on commercial agreements, and representing clients in civil and criminal proceedings, including appeals before the New York Supreme Court, Appellate Division. A graduate of Cornell University, Mr. Giambrone earned his Juris Doctor from the University at Buffalo School of Law. He is also a licensed real estate broker providing clients with a practical, market-informed perspective in real estate matters. Mr. Giambrone is the founder of a longstanding Buffalo-based law practice, which he led for over 20 years. His depth of experience and well-rounded background make him a valuable resource across both transactional and litigation matters. Outside of his legal work, James is a professional drummer, an avid golfer, and a longtime Buffalo Bills season ticket holder. He has also been actively involved in youth sports and community initiatives.”

Christopher R. Bitar
Chris is a lifelong Western New Yorker, growing up in Clarence before earning his undergraduate degree in Economics from Buffalo State College. He went on to receive his J.D. from the University at Buffalo School of Law, where he served as a Publications Editor for the Buffalo Law Review and was awarded the Moot Evidence Award for his excellence in evidence law.
Chris has years of invaluable experience focused on civil litigation and insurance defense. In addition to his years of experience in these areas, he had spent several years working in appellate practice and dispositive motions for a New York City based firm.

ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY
Iliana V. Lukasik
A lifelong Western New York native, Iliana earned her bachelor’s degree in politics from Oberlin College and a Juris Doctor from the University at Buffalo School of Law. Practice focuses on estate planning and estate administration, with extensive experience handling wills, trusts, and related matters. While in law school, she interned with Surrogate’s Court and the Center for Elder Law & Justice, experiences that continue to inform a thoughtful, practical approach to helping clients plan for the future.

FOUNDING PARTNER (RETIRED)
Steven K. Long
Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, Steve has made his home in Williamsville, Erie County, New York. He brings decades of legal experience to the firm, having previously served as a Partner at Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman LLP, one of the region's leading law firms, and as General Counsel for Mark IV Industries, Inc., a multibillion-dollar holding and manufacturing company.
During his time at Mark IV, Steve established and led the legal department, gaining extensive expertise in corporate law, mergers & acquisitions, commercial transactions, and labor and employment law. His deep knowledge and experience in these areas made him an invaluable resource for businesses navigating complex legal matters. Steve retired from practicing law at the end of 2025 after a fulfilling career, and now enjoys spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Mike Bolas
Mike earned his law degree from the University of Dayton before receiving a master’s in taxation (LLM) from the University of Denver. Mike began his career at Price Waterhouse and co-founded Campbell & Bolas, where he practiced for over 27 years.
Currently, he serves as General Counsel for the Erie County Agricultural Society and as Chairman of the Board for Mercy Flight of WNY. Mike’s practice focuses on general business law, business sales and acquisitions, estate planning, and elder law. His extensive experience and commitment to his clients make him a vital part of the team at Long & Paulo-Lee, PLLC.
